Arsenal identify new area to target in summer transfer window

Arsenal are looking to strengthen a new area of their squad.

Arsenal have been one of the most active Premier League clubs in the transfer market this summer.

The Gunners have completed a £65m move for Chelsea’s Kai Havertz. They are also set to wrap up a £105m deal for Declan Rice and a £30m move for Ajax defender, Jurrin Timber.

Such quality signings should help Arsenal challenge for the Premier League title once more and perhaps even win some form of silverware in 2023/24.

Now though, it seems Mikel Arteta’s side are not quite done in the transfer market just yet.

According to The Guardian, Arsenal have not finished their transfer spending just yet, with the Gunners possibly set to turn their attention towards strengthening their depth in attack after a major revamp in midfield.

The report adds that Arsenal will be looking into bringing in cover for Bukayo Saka in attack and further changes up front could also come as one of Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Balogun are expected to leave this summer.
