Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison has, on Saturday, confirmed the summer interest of another pair of London-based giants in his signature.
Brazilian international Richarlison, of course, was on the move ahead of the new campaign getting underway.
On the back of a lengthy will he, won’t he saga, the 25-year-old opted to take his talents to north London, linking up with Antonio Conte’s Spurs after a four-year spell on the books of Everton.
Richarlison, since, has gone on to line out for his new club on eight occasions across all competitions, racking up a pair of goals and a pair of assists in the process.

As alluded to above, though, had another of the Premier League’s clubs had their way, then such exploits could well have been on show in an altogether different corner of the English capital over the course of the 2022/23 campaign.
Speaking to the Evening Standard on Saturday, Richarlison was drawn on the summer tug-of-war over his signature.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, meanwhile, made contact with the powers that be at Everton, too.
In the end, though, it was Tottenham who blew the competition out of the water, by simply ‘coming in and paying the fee’:

“But Spurs came in and paid the fee, you know? It’s as simple as that”, he told @standardsport. pic.twitter.com/4fZ8dA68jx
