Scott Parker confirms Fulham’s Josh Maja had a calf problem vs Everton
Burnley vs Fulham
Burnley and Fulham are set to face off later today, in a Premier League clash.
The tie is a big one for both sides, and could have huge ramifications on this season’s relegation battle.
The Cottagers head into the game sitting 18th in the Premier League table, seven points adrift of 17th placed Newcastle, with Wednesday’s fixture marking their game in hand on the Magpies.
As for Burnley, they sit just one point above Newcastle, meaning a loss against Fulham could very well drag them back into a relegation scrap.

Scott Parker provides Josh Maja update
Fulham’s last outing before Burnley saw them earn a huge win over Europe-chasing Everton.
Josh Maja, on loan from Bordeaux, netted twice in the tie, to earn his new club a potentially crucial three points.

As a result, Fulham fans will no doubt be desperate for their new hitman to start again on Wednesday.
However, speaking pre-Burnley, Scott Parker confirmed that Maja picked up a calf issue vs the Toffees, which eventually resulted in his exit from proceedings.
Parker was therefore asked if Maja’s match load may need to be managed, to which he responded:
“Maybe that will be the case.”
“He didn’t play a lot (before signing). He was stretching his calf which is why we brought him off. We may have to manage him. He seems very fit. Condition-wise, credit to him, that’s the work he must have done despite not playing. It is something we will need to keep an eye on.”
