Ruben Dias believes Bernardo Silva’s tactical understanding and versatility has helped him become one of the best players in the world.
Silva’s future at the Etihad has been up in the air for several seasons now.
FC Barcelona continued to be linked heavily until this summer when French giants PSG were tipped for a move.
However, Silva has since signed a new Manchester City deal and looks set to see out his best days in Manchester.
After Man City’s win over Sheffield United, Ruben Dias has been heaping praise on Bernardo Silva:
“I consider him [Bernardo] to be a person who has a very good understanding of football and his own game,” Dias told the club site. “But with Bernardo, I think this is taken to a new level, due to his ability to play in any position on the pitch, and to be able to know exactly what to do.
“I think this is an ability that very few people have in the world of football. I am as impressed by this as anyone, so I think to have that ‘super intelligence’ of the game would be no bad thing.”
