Manchester City faced off with Manchester United on Saturday and were the favourites to pick up a win.
Manchester United headed into the game on a fine run of form and looking to avenge their 6-3 suffered at the hands of City back in October.
And when all was said and done, Manchester United came away with a 2-1 win to move within a point of City.
Erling Haaland started the clash but failed to score, with City’s only strike coming from Jack Grealish off the bench.
Following the game, Erik ten Hag has explained why Luke Shaw started at centre-back:
“It is a big decision. But I think when you analyse the profile of Haaland and the combination with De Bruyne it was also the right decision because Luke has the physical power to compete with them and also has the tactical view to make the right decision and technical skills to play in that position,” he told reporters.
