Revealed: Manchester United’s predicted 2023/24 home kit

Pictures of the home kit expected to be donned by Manchester United in home fixtures next season have come to the fore on Friday.

And some major changes appear to be in store.

As revealed by the reliable Footy Headlines, kit manufacturer Adidas are planning to introduce a striking new flower pattern across the Red Devils’ jersey:

‘The 2023-24 Manchester United home kit truly embodies the essence of Manchester. The kit features a repeating Lancashire Rose geometric pattern on the front.’

For those not aware, the Lancashire Rose is a historic symbol, widely recognised in England’s northwest.

Already made use of by Lancashire’s cricket and rugby teams, as well on the county’s flag, the rose will now take centre stage on the football pitch, too.

As showcased in the images below, Adidas’ trademark logo and trio of sleeve stripes will be accompanied on a classic deep red base by Lancashire’s heraldic symbol.

It now remains to be seen which jersey sponsor will be emblazoned across the shirt’s front, a factor potentially set to be determined by the club’s imminent takeover:
