Mo Salah joins Luis Suarez in impressive club following latest Liverpool strike

The Egyptian king continues to star for the Reds

Mohamed Salah continues to break record after record in a Liverpool shirt, with his latest strike against Fulham netting him yet another accolade.

The Egyptian winger converted a penalty after Darwin Nunez was judged to have been fouled, in what turned out to be the only goal of the game.

In doing so, he managed a goal in his eighth consecutive home game for the Reds, a record that can only be matched by two other Liverpool stars and last achieved by Luis Suarez during his time at Anfield.

Though several have been penalties, it is a small silver lining on a personal note for what has been an underwhelming season for his side.

Despite this, Salah has still returned an impressive 18 goals and 7 assists and, with four games left to play, has a fantastic chance of breaking the 20 goal barrier once more, continuing his streak of managing to do so every year since he returned to the Premier League with Liverpool.

The hard-fought win takes Jurgen Klopp’s side five points clear of sixth-placed Tottenham, who they beat on Sunday in dramatic fashion, and well on course for a spot in the Europa League next season as they continue a salvage job from what was a disastrous first half of the season.
