Iconic Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has, on Friday, confirmed plans to reunite one of the greatest trios in the history of football.
The trident in question? Suarez, Lionel Messi, and Neymar.
The famed ‘MSN’ connection, of course, spent three spectacular years together between 2014 and 2017, lighting up Spanish and European football alike.
In fact, so brilliantly did the three South Americans dovetail, that many still view Suarez, Messi and Neymar as the single best frontline to ever take to the pitch together.
Footballs purists the world over, as a result, will no doubt be excited to learn of the prospect of ‘the band getting back together’ at some point in the near future.
After Messi this week dropped a bombshell in opting to reject a return to Barcelona in favour of a move to the United States with Inter Miami, one-time partner in crime Suarez - now of Gremio - was drawn on his own long-term plans.
And the prolific striker, 36, went on to reveal that MSN have long had plans in place to close our their respective careers at the same club.
Suarez even went as far as to confirm that he and Messi will ‘definitely be there together’.
