Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah placed in Lionel Messi & Robert Lewandowski category after starring vs Tottenham

Mohamed Salah impressed for Liverpool in their last outing.

Liverpool faced off with Tottenham on Sunday afternoon in a Premier League clash.

The Lilywhites head into the game in the top-four, whilst Liverpool were languishing in midtable.

In the end, though, Liverpool came away with a 2-1 win thanks to some brilliance from Mohamed Salah.

Salah opened the scoring after receiving the ball from Darwin Nunez and turning in the box before smashing home.

After the game, Liverpool midfielder Thiago, who has previously played with Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi at Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona, stated that Salah was one of the best forwards he has ever played with:

Discussing Salah with Premier League Productions, Thiago said: “He’s one of the top forwards that I’ve played with in my career, it’s the consistency that he has on and off the pitch. His work ethic, how he wants to help the team, how he wants to help himself. I think it’s that hunger that defines him.”

Salah had a slow start to the season, but he has returned to form in recent weeks.

He has scored seven goals in his last five Champions League ties and three in his last two league matches.
