Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has, on Sunday evening, provided an update on the wellbeing of key attacker Diogo Jota.
For those not aware, Jota set pulses racing across the red half of Merseyside earlier today.
This came upon the former Wolves standout pulling up in the final moments of Liverpoolβs hard-fought downing of Manchester City.
After writhing in pain on the Anfield turf, Jota was eventually stretchered off by the hostsβ medical team, sparking fears of a potentially lengthy incoming spell on the sidelines.
Speaking to the media post-match, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his versatile forwardβs situation was put to the aforementioned Jurgen Klopp.
The German, though, was keen to keep his cards close to his chest.
Klopp on the injury to Diogo Jota. ‘You can see a little bit that somebody kicks his foot and maybe the muscle got overstretched, 96 minutes, thatβs not good for the muscle. He felt it immediately and now we have to wait to see how bad it is.’https://t.co/cckOHhGZPJ#LFC

Turning attentions back towards the action itself on Sunday, Jotaβs attacking partner in crime, Mohamed Salah, ultimately proved match-winner on Merseyside.
This came as the Egyptian, fifteen minutes from time, did superbly to roll Joao Cancelo, before slotting beyond the advancing Ederson in style:
A HUGE GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL!
