Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has, on Thursday, provided a fresh insight into the wellbeing of star attacker Patrick Bamford.
The Whites, of course, are primed to return to competitive action this weekend.
On the back of a campaign which saw them narrowly avoid relegation last time out, Marsch’s troops will kick their 2022/23 endeavours into gear in a Premier League meeting with Wolves, hopeful of getting things off to a positive start.
And one Leeds star who is no doubt eyeing a more productive term from an individual standpoint comes in the form of the aforementioned Patrick Bamford.
Hitman Bamford endured a season to forget last time out, on his way to just seven Premier League starts.
This came with the England international unable to shake a lengthy string of fitness problems, ranging from a hamstring injury to a lingering ankle concern.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his star attacker’s fitness was put to Jesse Marsch.
And, in news which will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Leeds faithful, the club’s boss went on to confirm that Bamford has enjoyed a ‘huge week’.
The 28-year-old, in turn, is expected to be fit and ready to feature from the off when the Peacocks welcome Wolves to Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
