La Liga president Javier Tebas has, on Saturday evening, taken aim at French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain in altogether ruthless fashion.

The Spanish patron's outburst of course comes fresh on the back of news that Kylian Mbappe has come to the decision to reject the long-time advances of Real Madrid, in favour of remaining at the Parc des Princes.

Los Blancos' pursuit of Mbappe was brought to a definitive close earlier today, upon word surfacing that one of world football's most explosive talents is primed to extend his PSG stay through the summer of 2025.

What specifically, though, gave rise to the aforementioned Tebas' wrath?

La Liga's chief, in turn, has gone as far as to suggest that the Frenchman's deal marks 'an insult to football', whilst labelling PSG 'as dangerous as the Super League'.

*Update* - La Liga have now released a statement, confirming that they have officially reported PSG to UEFA over an agreement viewed as nothing short of 'scandalous':

Blancos respond?

Tebas, though, is far from the only one keen to have his say on Mbappe's decision to remain in France.

Taking to their respective Instagram accounts this afternoon, a pair of Blancos stars, in the form of Karim Benzema and Rodrygo, too appeared to respond to the news - albeit in altogether more subtle fashion - hinting that no one player is bigger than the institution that is Real Madrid:
