Kyle Walker sends message to Arsenal after Premier League triumph

Kyle Walker has been discussing his latest Premier League win and Arsenal.

Manchester City became seven-time Premier League champions on Saturday.

The Sky Blues spent much of the campaign chasing down an Arsenal side who, at the halfway point of the season, were on course to match City’s record-breaking 100-point tally.

However, Arsenal fell away in the last month or so, with their draws vs West Ham and Southampton on top of losses to City, Brighton and Nottingham Forest ending their charge.

Arsenal’s loss to Forest meant City won the league without having to play Chelsea on Sunday.

And speaking after Arsenal’s latest loss, Kyle Walker was quick to praise the Gunners, labelling them as fantastic:

“It’s been a little of madness in there (first team building), but we’re fully focused for tomorrow,” said Walker.

“Arsenal pushed us right to the limit they’ve been fantastic, so all credit to them “We just went on an incredible run, they had a few hiccups and we capitalised on it and we’ve managed to end up where we have now.

“It’s the players we’ve got. We’re a bunch of lads who have achieved so much over the last number of years and we understand the standards we’ve set.”
