Images: Kai Havertz reunites with ex-Chelsea teammate in first day of Arsenal training

A series of photos, showcasing Kai Havertz’s first day of training in Arsenal colours, have come to the fore on Saturday evening.

The name of German international Havertz has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of north London over the course of the last fortnight.

This comes after long-standing speculation surrounding the future of the Chelsea star was finally put to bed, upon Havertz putting pen to paper on terms with the aforementioned Arsenal.

After a difficult season at Stamford Bridge, the 24-year-old has opted for a new adventure, understandably keen to play a central role in an exciting project under the watch of Mikel Arteta.

With the new season inching ever closer to kicking into gear, Havertz, in turn, will now be tasked with familiarising himself with not only the system of play at The Emirates, but his new teammates, too.

And, as alluded to above, on Saturday, the talented attacker was afforded his first opportunity to begin precisely that.
