Manchester United star Antony, on Sunday, secured for himself a piece of Premier League history.

Erik ten Hag’s troops, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

On the back of a timely upturn in form, the Red Devils welcomed table-topping Arsenal to Old Trafford, eyeing a 4th win on the spin.

And, when all was said and done, emerge on the right side of the result is precisely what the evening’s hosts managed.

After Bukayo Saka had pulled Arsenal level on the hour mark, a late double on the part of Marcus Rashford ensured that Man United emerged with the bragging rights, in the process climbing up to 5th in the Premier League table.

Also on target at Old Trafford on the day, though, was the aforementioned Antony.

And the Brazilian international wasted little time in making his mark on English football, opening the scoring against Arsenal courtesy of a classy left-footed strike.

Not only that, but, in the process, Antony became the new owner of a Premier League benchmark.

As per statisticians Opta, the 22-year-old, on Sunday, became the youngest Brazilian to ever find the net during their maiden outing in England’s top tier:
