Hatem Ben Arfa’s amazing PSG demise: Cussing Unai Emery to his face, eating kebabs at training

Hatem Ben Arfa is leaving PSG

Now 31, former Newcastle and Hull City midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa is leaving PSG in a blaze of glory.

This week Ben Arfa confirmed on Instagram that he’s leaving the Parc de Princes at the end of the season.

Will the PSG fans even notice he’s gone? Ben Arfa has been a ghost in Paris in recent times as he’s been frozen out of the PSG setup.

Ben Arfa, who hasn’t played for PSG all season, wrote on social media:

Soon the end of my adventure at PSG, despite difficult times, I am happy to have worn this jersey, I will keep wonderful memories with my teammates and through this message I take the opportunity to thank the many supporters. I will like always this club.

While Ben Arfa is sure to be linked with a return to England, should clubs steer clear of him for his attitude problems?

Cussing Unai Emery & eating kebabs

This week France Football have revealed what Hatem Ben Arfa has been doing at PSG in the last twelve months.

It’s been claimed that Ben Arfa told Unai Emery in the spring of 2017, after Barcelona’s remontada, that the manager would never progress past the quarterfinals of the Champions League, despite having one of the best teams in the world.

Behind Emery’s back, Ben Arfa was also known to entertain his teammates by performing impressions of Emery’s attempts to speak French.

It’s also been claimed that Ben Arfa has been spotted by a PSG employee eating a kebab in the Camp des Loges training ground parking lot.

How PSG have tried to get rid of Ben Arfa

It’s not like PSG haven’t tried to get Ben Arfa off their books in recent times.

France Football revealed that former PSG Director of Football, Patrick Kluivert, clearly told the player he had no future at the club.

You have to leave, the manager doesn’t want you, we have found you a club, Fenerbahce, you’ll see Turkey is a good league.

But Ben Arfa rejected the Fenerbahce move, as well as the opportunity to join Nice last summer.
