Garnacho’s three-word verdict on Manchester United wonderkid should please fans

Alejandro Garnacho has been full of praise for another Manchester United youngster.

Garnacho was keen to praise Manchester United teammate Kobbie Mainoo after the young midfielder made his second first-team appearance for the Reds Devils on Saturday evening.

Manchester United were in FA Cup 4th round action vs Championship outfit Reading.

In the end, Man United came away with a comfortable win on the day, in large part due to the stellar display of Casemiro, who netted twice in a 3-1 win.

It was not just Casemiro who impressed on the day, however, with the aforementioned Mainoo also taking the headlines.

Stockport-born Mainoo has been a mainstay in United’s under-21 and under-18 sides for some time now.

He is a central midfielder by trade, but can operate as a DM or as a CAM as well.

The 17-year-old made his Manchester United debut in a 3-0 win over Charlton in the League Cup earlier this season and came off the bench for the final 35 minutes vs Reading on Saturday.

Following the game, Garnacho, who also came off the bench on Saturday night, lauded his fellow youngster after the match - taking to Instagram to praise Mainoo for his impressive cameo:

“What a player,” wrote the Argentine, alongside a clapping emoji.
