FPL blow: Rodrigo injured during Leeds’ clash with Everton

Rodrigo has suffered an injury during Leeds United’s clash with Everton on Tuesday evening.

Leeds are currently locked in Premier League action with Everton at Elland Road.

The Whites headed into the game likely fancying their chances of picking up a win vs a poor Everton team.

However, it was Everton who opened the scoring 17 minutes in via Chelsea-linked Anthony Gordon.

Leeds, meanwhile, are struggling to create much and have, at the time of writing, had just one shot on goal, which was off target.

To make matters worse for the Yorkshire outfit, Leeds have now lost their top goalscorer to injury.

Rodrigo started 2022/23 very well and had four goals in four games before Tuesday.

The Spaniard appears to have dislocated his shoulder and had it in a makeshift sling when he was coming off:

As well as being a big blow for Leeds, FPL fans all around the world will also be furious as the Spaniard is one of the most-picked players on the game and has already seen his price rise from 6.0 to 6.5 this term.

Leeds play Brentford next on Saturday the 3rd of September and it seems unlikely Rodrigo will be able to play.
