Everton team news and predicted XI vs Manchester City

Everton Team News

  • Out: Andros Townsend, Séamus Coleman, Rúben Vinagre, Ben Godfrey, Dele Alli
  • Doubt: N/A

A massive 5-1 thrashing of high-flying Brighton last time out may hardly be enough for Everton to stave off relegation from the Premier League for the first time in decades the Toffees play host to holding champions Manchester City at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Sean Dyche’s men performed exceptionally well against Roberto De Zerbi’s European-motivated Seagulls at the AMEX, but a different task awaits when City arrives on the blue side of Stanley Park, with Dyche now made to deal with the prospect of not having key right-back Séamus Coleman for the weekend after the Irish veteran has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

The former Burnley boss will also be made to contend with the absences of Andros Townsend, Rúben Vinagre, Ben Godfrey, Dele Alli; none of which are disruptive to the teamsheet. Few, if any, changes are expected, with the only change coming in the vein of Nathan Patterson continuing at right-back in place of Coleman.
