Chelsea fans express concern over summer signing during West Ham clash

Supporters of Chelsea have flooded to social media on Sunday evening, to make clear their concerns with a key member of the club’s summer recruitment drive.

Mauricio Pochettino’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.

After being held to an opening day stalemate by Liverpool, Chelsea have made the trip to the London Stadium, eyeing a first-three point haul of the Premier League campaign at the expense of capital rivals West Ham United.

Amid what has proven another frustrating evening for their side to date, in turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of the expectant Chelsea faithful being up in arms online.

None, though, has been more widely targeted than shot-stopper Robert Sanchez.

Amid suggestions that the summer arrival at Stamford Bridge is not of the standard required to be the club’s no.1, many of a Chelsea persuasion have even gone as far as to claim that the oft-criticised Kepa Arrizabalaga boasts far superior talents:
