The subject of injury woes, of course, has taken its place front and centre at Stamford Bridge over the course of the week to date.
This comes after Blues stopper Reece James set pulses racing across west London, in limping out of his side’s Champions League downing of AC Milan on Tuesday night.
The ensuing news regarding James’ wellbeing points towards alleged relief, with initial scans understood to have come up negative, but he is nevertheless expected to sit out the upcoming round of Premier League fixtures, at the least.

The latest word stemming from France regarding another member of Graham Potter’s squad, though, has proven altogether less reassuring.
The player in question? N’Golo Kante.
And, according to L’Equipe, those of a Chelsea persuasion should not get their hopes up regarding the prospect of seeing the club’s midfield dynamo back on the pitch any time soon, either.
This comes amid claims that Kante is set to sit out a minimum of four to five more fixtures, after suffering a relapse amid his recovery from a lingering hamstring concern.
The former Leicester City man’s World Cup hopes, in turn, have too been thrown into doubt.
