Brighton vs Tottenham betting tips: Premier League match preview & predictions

Brighton vs Tottenham 101 Great Goals’ prediction: Brighton 1-3 Tottenham

On Tuesday evening, Mauricio Pochettino’s five-year tenure at Tottenham Hotspur reached it’s lowest point as his side crashed to a 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich.

There have been clear issues at Spurs involving the players and the German champions well and truly exposed them in the Champions League.

Pochettino must now make some serious changes with his current formula continuing to let him down.

The result will not fill the north London club with a great deal of confidence of claiming their first away win in the league since January.

Although, Brighton and Hove Albion are without a win since the opening day and this is really a fixture Spurs should take maximum points from.

Premier League preview: Brighton vs Tottenham

Tottenham’s issues continue to rumble on as they were humiliated at home against Bayern Munich.

For the first time in the club’s history, they conceded seven goals at home with their areas of weakness continuing to be exposed.

Spurs’ issues have been well documented with a number of their players looking to exit the club in the very near future and many of their star men looking a shadow of their former-selves.

Their inability to win away from home has also become a glaring-issue, with their last away victory in the league coming against Fulham back in January.

There is a real mess at Spurs at the moment, but with a couple of months still remaining until new players can arrive, Pochettino must find a quick fix to save their season.

However, that quick fix needs to implemented on Saturday or he runs the risk of coming under serious pressure from the fans.

Brighton hoping to put pressure on Pochettino

Brighton will now sense Saturday as a real opportunity to cause a major upset and claim just their second win of the season.

On the opening day, the Seagulls convincingly beat Watford 4-0, but since then results haven’t gone to plan.

Last week, Brighton seriously struggled at Stamford Bridge and could well have been on the receiving end of a big loss against Chelsea.
