Bournemouth 0-0 Chelsea: Match report, player ratings, fan reaction & more

All the action from the Vitality Stadium.

Both sides headed into Sunday’s game in desperate need of three points.

Bournemouth were yet to win a game this season before facing Chelsea and the Blues themselves only had one win to their name, which came vs Luton.

When all was said and done at the Vitality Stadium, the points were shared.

Raheem Sterling should have put Chelsea in front after 10 minutes when he was played in by Conor Gallagher but he smashed his effort well wide.

Gallagher then forced a quality save out of Neto 32 minutes in to keep the score level at 0-0.

The score was level at the break with Chelsea somewhat on top but once again struggling to take their chances.

Bournemouth’s best chance of the game fell to Dominik Solanke in the 78th minute. The striker was free in the box but his shot was fairly easily saved by Robert Sanchez.

The game opened up a lot in the final 10 minutes with a number of big chances but neither side was able to find a winner.
