€80m Liverpool star willing to leave if Reds miss out on Champions League next season

Liverpool could lose one of their top stars in the summer transfer window.

After 23 games of the campaign, Liverpool are sat 7th in the Premier League having already lost more games and conceded more goals than they did in all of 2021/22.

Liverpool are also nine points off the Champions League places, but do have two games in hand on Tottenham at present.

However, the Reds’ form has been less than consistent this season and them winning both games in hand does not seem that likely at present.

But if Liverpool do fail to qualify for the Champions League, it could have huge ramifications on their squad.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Mohamed Salah would be willing to leave the Merseyside club in the summer should the Reds fail to qualify for the Champions League.

According to the report, one of the clubs that would be interested in signing him is PSG and the French champions are said to be willing to pay €80m for his services.

This would go a long way in helping Klopp strengthen his midfield

However, it would leave Liverpool fairly weak on the right flank as Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz are all more comfortable on the left or up front.
