Crystal Palace v West Ham: Line-up, stats and preview
An in-depth preview for Monday night's big game
A huge game for West Ham – and for Tottenham fans – takes place in south London under the lights on Monday night.
For Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace, this is an opportunity to continue their late-season surge. The Eagles have been in fine form recently, most notably securing a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United last time out to sit comfortably in 13th place with 42 points.
West Ham, however, arrive at Selhurst Park with far more anxiety. Sitting 17th in the table after Saturday’s results, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are perilously close to the drop zone.
Despite a morale-boosting 4-0 thumping of Wolves recently, the Hammers have struggled for consistency, losing 16 times this campaign. A win would provide a massive cushion between themselves and the bottom three, but their away form remains a major concern for the traveling faithful.
Tottenham conceding a late equaliser at home to Brighton left them 18th going into Sunday’s games. How important could that goal yet prove in the shake-up?

Team news for Crystal Palace v West Ham
Oliver Glasner is expected to stick with his favored 3-4-3 system. Jørgen Strand Larsen or JP Mateta will lead the line, supported by the creative duo of Brennan Johnson and Yeremy Pino. The Eagles remain without long-term absentees Eddie Nketiah and Chadi Riad.
Adam Wharton and Maxence Lacroix both picked up injuries in European action in midweek which could be a major blow.
West Ham are bolstered by the form of Jarrod Bowen, who has been their standout performer with eight goals and eight assists this season. Nuno is likely to deploy a 4-4-1-1 formation, with Taty Castellanos leading the line and Crysencio Summerville providing threat from the flanks.
The Hammers have no injury issues.
