Lille are aiming to get back in the win column after a struggle in the past month keeps them in sixth with a lot of work to do as Toulouse creep up on the top 10 in Ligue 1 ahead of this one.
Toulouse’s season has been about as topsy-turvy as it gets. They’ve managed to lose to Marseille and Reims in the past month, while also facing a defeat at home to Clermont Foot at the start of March.
A sensational 6-1 win over Rodez in the French Cup quarter-finals came in for Philippe Montanier’s men a few weeks back. Toulouse also defeated Angers last time out, as Thijs Dallinga and Mikkel Desler scored.
Lille have drawn their past two games against Lens and Lyon to keep them in sixth and one point adrift of Rennes. They are still behind Lens in third by four points too.
Despite the lack of form from Lille, they remain above Nice in seventh by three points and will still be hopeful of getting a spot in the Europa Conference League in some regard.
