Nantes are in deep trouble ahead of their match with Montpellier in Ligue 1 with the home side sitting in the bottom four with only a handful of games left to play in France’s top flight.
Nantes have had a terrible few weeks. The club have seen their French Cup defence go up in smoke after losing 5-1 to Toulouse in the final that also saw them 4-0 down inside the first half.

As for Montpellier, they hammered Monaco away from home 4-0 three weeks ago in what was their best result of the season.
They then went on to score four times again but lost 5-4 away to Lyon. They now remain in 12th and are safe from the drop with a gap of 11 points on Nantes.
