10th and 12th will meet in Ligue 1 at the Stade du Moustoir this weekend with Lorient set to play hosts to Toulouse with both sides aiming to get into the top half of the table in the French top flight this season.

Lorient have plummeted down the Ligue 1 table in recent weeks and now come into this one without a win since early March when they eased to a 2-0 win over Troyes at home.

The club have since gone on to draw with Nice and Marseille, while Lorient have also lost to Lille and Monaco in April, both by 3-1 scorelines. It keeps the club in 10th with their hopes of a return to Europe all but over.

Toulouse are into the French Cup final that takes place next week and with them well clear of the relegation zone, there’s no doubting that all their attention turns to that clash with Nantes next Sunday.

Philippe Montanier’s men were beaten by Lyon in the last outing, with their only win in Ligue 1 this month coming in a 2-1 away victory over Montpellier.
