Two sides eyeing up a spot in the playoffs in 2023 will meet at Field Mill as Mansfield Town play hosts to a Barrow team in their worst spell of form in League Two this season.
Based on the first few months of this League Two campaign, it looked as if Barrow would be one of the favourites to get into the playoffs. Now, however, they have rocketed from fourth right down into 10th since November.
In fact, with action carrying on during the World Cup for the fourth tier of England, Barrow have now not won a game since before the World Cup when they beat Hartlepool United 3-1.
The club have gone on to lose 5-0 to Stevenage, while also losing to Swindon Town and Tranmere Rovers. The only points Barrow have picked up since mid-November have been in draws with Salford City and Rochdale since Christmas.
Mansfield lost to Walsall last time out, but by getting a point off Northampton Town and beating Hartlepool since Christmas, they remain in seventh and with another finish in the playoffs well on the cards.
