Harrogate Town will play hosts to Mansfield Town at the EnviroVent Stadium as League Two action continues with the World Cup set to start on Sunday as 21st meets with a Mansfield side eyeing up another spot in the playoffs.

Mansfield have barely took their foot off the gas since losing in the playoffs last season. They are, however, sitting seventh and needing to find some form during the World Cup if they are to get into the top six before the end of the year.

The club have managed to get into the next round of the FA Cup after beating Barrow away from home 1-0. They also beat Rochdale last time out in the league, but with a loss to Bradford City and Swindon Town, Mansfield have only managed to win one of their past five games with them also drawing with Newport County.

Harrogate Town are still sitting in big trouble during this League Two season. On the other hand, with them beating Bradford City 1-0 away from home in the FA Cup, it hasn’t been completely disastrous. At the same time, with a draw against Carlisle United, a loss to Leyton Orient, Wimbledon and Walsall, the club have not won in the league since mid-October.

Mansfield will be hoping to put some wins together with this favourable run before the end of the month. Harrogate are also looking quite poor at home this season.
