MK Dons will be keen to build on their best run of form in the league this season down in League One as the Dons head into their match with Peterborough United having won their past two games and moved into 23rd.

Liam Manning’s side have struggled all season long so far, and even in December – despite their league wins – they have managed to lose to Leicester City 3-0 in the FA Cup and Bristol Rovers 4-1 in the EFL Trophy.

MK Dons have, however, beaten Forest Green to push them into 21st and above them, while also beating Portsmouth at Fratton Park in what is easily their best result of the season.

Peterborough, on the other hand, have lost to Barnsley and Ipswich Town in December already, with their only point this month coming in the Boxing Day draw with Charlton Athletic.

Worse yet for the Posh, they are now in eighth and outside of the playoff spots. However, with a game in hand, they could see themselves move into seventh and above Wycombe Wanderers.
