Charlton Athletic’s hectic schedule continues with a trip to the Kassam Stadium this weekend where Oxford United are aiming to get back in the win column after a tough run of form in recent weeks.

Oxford were smashed by Ipswich Town last time out to make it four games without a win in League One since beating Port Vale with a stunning 4-0 scoreline. The club are now still in 15th and hopes of getting into the playoffs are all but dead in the water by this point.

Worse yet, the club are coming into this one with a six-point gap on Forest Green Rovers in 22nd and Oxford have now conceded 25 goals and scored just 26 of their own.

As for Charlton, they are heading into this clash away from home after getting a commendable point above Peterborough United. On the other hand, it was only eight days ago in which they beat Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion in the EFL Cup.

Charlton will now head to Old Trafford in two weeks for a quarter-finals clash, but back in League One, they sit with just five wins from 22 games and 25 points too.
