Forest Green Rovers will be eager to get a win over Burton Albion this Thursday evening in what is arguably the biggest game of the season for either side at the New Lawn Stadium with only one place in the table separating them in League Two.

Both of these teams have had times in the relegation zone this season, with Forest Green most recently sitting 23rd and even last in as early as October.

Now, however, Ian Burchnall’s men are 22nd and come into this game off the back of a 4-0 loss to Derby County and a 1-0 defeat to MK Dons.

Forest Green managed to beat Cheltenham Town 1-0 earlier in the month, while also registering a fantastic victory over Cambridge United on December 3rd to move them out of the relegation zone.

Burton, however, sit in the relegation spots in 23rd. They did manage to beat Lincoln City 3-0 after a 2-0 loss to Barnsley two weeks back. Their 3-0 win over Lincoln, however, is one of just four wins for Burton from 23 games.
