Valencia vs Osasuna betting tips: La Liga preview, predictions and odds

Valencia vs Osasuna odds and betting statistics

Valencia vs Osasuna match preview

With their European hopes currently hanging by a thread, Osasuna must try and refocus on domestic matters, ahead of the huge night in Belgium.

On Thursday night, in their first European match for over 16 years, los Rojillos were beaten 2-1 by Club Brugge at El Sadar in the Europa Conference League play-off round.

Chimy Ávila did equalise in Pamplona with 15 minutes to play, only for Brugge to retake the lead immediately after.

So, Osasuna must now win at Jan Breydelstadion next Thursday, or their return to UEFA competition will be over before it ever really began.

This would be a serious blow for Jagoba Arrasate’s team, given how hard the club fought, both on the field and in court rooms, to qualify for this competition.

In La Liga, Osasuna were beaten 2-0 by fierce rivals Athletic Club last Saturday night, and another defeat could be on the cards here.

Los Che began the campaign with a shock 2-1 victory at Sevilla before, last Friday night, Pepelu’s penalty was enough to down Las Palmas.

The home fans in attendance at Mestalla are likely to have another home win to celebrate.
