Can Real Sociedad start to build some momentum in the race for European football?
Last week was a bad one for La Real as, first, they were hammered 4-0 at San Mamés by Athletic Club, their biggest Basque Derby defeat for 63 years.
Then, last Thursday, los Txuri-Urdin were dumped out the UEFA Europa League, courtesy of a 3-1 home reverse against RB Leipzig.
So, it was vitally important that they beat Osasuna on Sunday and, thanks to Aritz Elustondo’s goal, they did just that, 1-0.
This is only Real Sociedad’s third win in 12 La Liga games, since sitting top of the table after a victory at Osasuna in early-November.
Imanol Alguacil’s side are currently seventh in the table and, with no other competitions to distract them now, are looking to secure a top six finish.
RCD Mallorca meanwhile are just aiming to stay clear of the relegation zone.
On Saturday, los Bermellones conceded in the fourth minute and then couldn’t recover as they were beaten 1-0 by Valencia in Palma.
That’s now back-to-back defeats for Luis García Plaza’s men who’d won successive games before this, against Cádiz and Athletic, to leap clear of danger.
Right now, Mallorca are 16th, five points clear of Cádiz in the bottom three, so would love to widen that gap with a victory here.
Who will win at Son Moix?

Despite the tight turnaround, Luis García Plaza isn’t likely to make too many changes to his XI.
Vedat Muriqi has made an instant impression after joining on loan from Lazio, scoring against both Cádiz on his debut and then Real Betis.
He’ll continue to lead the line with Takefusa Kubo, Ángel and Dani Rodríguez the likely attacking midfield trio.
Elsewhere, goalkeeper Sergio Rico, who’s on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, will be key to Mallorca’s survival hopes.

Imanol Alguacil is starting to get some key players back ad he’ll hope this results in an upturn in results.
Although, with Nacho Monreal still out due to a long-term knee injury, Andoni Gorosabel could fill-in at left-back again.
Up top though, Alexander Isak missed the Basque Derby but is fit again now so will continue to lead the line.
Naïs Djouahra and Ander Martín were surprise starters out-wide on Sunday but top-scorer Mikel Oyarzabal and Portu are expected to return here, flanking David Silva.
