Almería vs Mallorca odds and betting statistics

Almería vs Mallorca match preview

Can Almería take a gigantic step towards safety with a victory in this Saturday evening clash?

A week ago, los Rojiblancos’ miserable form away from home continued, beaten 3-1 by Osasuna at El Sadar, with Lázaro’s stoppage time goal very much of the consolation variety.

On the road, Rubi’s team have won just once all season, beating Getafe last month, but, in front of their own supporters, la Unión are significantly stronger, recording nine wins and suffering only six defeats.

This is what is keeping Almería afloat, as they start the weekend 15th, two points clear of the drop zone.

After this, Rubi’s side face Real Sociedad (A), Valladolid (H) and Espanyol (A) so, with this their penultimate home game, they’ll be targeting a win that would propel them towards security.

Mallorca meantime only survived on the final day of last season, winning their final two matches, beating Rayo and Osasuna, to stay up by one point.

Los Bermellones beat Cádiz in their last outing on Friday night, Pablo Maffeo with the only goal at Son Moix, thereby ending a run of three games without a win.

This though is all about Almería, so will Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos witness another home win?
