Thelo Aasgaard’s strike earned Rangers a draw at Dundee United as both sides began their 2026/27 Scottish Premiership campaigns at Tannadice Park.
Summer signing Lachlan Rose’s tap-in gave the hosts a 38th-minute lead but Aasgaard denied United victory on the midfielder’s return from representing Norway at the World Cup 2026.
The result represented an underwhelming start for new Rangers boss Derek McInnes, who came within minutes of winning the title with Hearts last season before replacing Danny Rohl as Gers head coach in June.
