In a season of underachievement for both West Ham and Tottenham, this was a result that did little to appease either set of supporters.
Graham Potter and Ange Postecoglou will remain under pressure following a tame draw between two teams that looked devoid of confidence and fluency.

Disjointed Spurs focus on Europa League
In Spurs’ defence, Postecoglou made eight changes to his starting XI, giving them a disjoined feel, ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League semi-final, second leg against Bodo/Glimt in Norway.
Despite that, Spurs took the lead when Max Kilman’s slip enabled Wilson Odobert to score but Jarrod Bowen levelled things up after 28 minutes.
Both teams had chances to win it but could not take them as the spoils were shared.
West Ham started well but their promise was upended by a moment to forget for Kilman on the quarter-hour mark. The former Wolves defender had two chances to clear but failed on each occasion with his second attempt at a clearance falling straight to Mathys Tel and the on-loan Bayern Munich forward held his nerve to find Odobert and he finished coolly.
Bowen saves Hammers again
Bowen has remained a bright spark for West Ham this season and he netted the equaliser 13 minutes later, taking Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s pass in his stride before firing a shot past Guglielmo Vicario.
Richarlison ought to have restored Spurs’ advantage before half-time but, having been played in by Tel, could only drag his effort wide.
Tel and Bowen traded opportunities before the England winger came close again by deflecting an effort on goal which brought a brilliant save from Vicario low to his left.
The Italian can count himself a touch fortunate in injury-time, however, as a trademark free-kick from substitute James Ward-Prowse flashed past his post with the goalkeeper watching motionless.
