Tottenham are exploring the possibility of signing Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo this summer.
The Cameroon international had an impressive 2024-25 Premier League campaign, netting 20 goals for the Bees and establishing himself as one of the league’s most exciting and prolific strikers.
Spurs’ new head coach Thomas Frank, who was appointed on Thursday, previously worked closely with Mbeumo during his time in charge at Brentford and is believed to be keen on a reunion.
Earlier this month, Manchester United reportedly tabled an offer worth £45million plus a potential £10m in add-ons for the 25-year-old, but Brentford rejected the proposal as it fell significantly short of their valuation.
Reports suggest that Tottenham have yet to submit an official bid for Mbeumo, though interest in the player remains high, with other Champions League clubs across Europe also monitoring the situation.

Mbeumo’s current deal with Brentford runs for another year, with an option for a further 12 months, and it’s understood there is no release clause included in the agreement.
Since arriving at Brentford from French side Troyes in 2019, Mbeumo has gone on to score 70 goals in 242 appearances across all competitions.
