Monday 27 March’s CONCACAF Nations League betting tips: Previews, predictions and odds

Monday’s CONCACAF Nations League: United States vs El Salvador, Trinidad & Tobago vs Nicaragua, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines vs Bahamas, Guatemala vs French Guinea, Dominican Republic vs Belize, Saint Kitts and Nevis vs Aruba & Saint Lucia vs Dominica.

United States vs El Salvador

[TIP_OF_THE_DAY]

Will defending champions United States book their place at June’s CONCACAF Nations League Finals?

On Friday night, USA leapt to the top of this group by smashing Grenada 7-1 in St. George’s, scoring 7+ outside the United States for the first time ever.

Ricardo Pepi and Weston McKennie both bagged braces, with Brenden Aaronson, Christian Pulisic and Alejandro Zendejas also on target.

So, the Stars and Stripes are top of Group D, needing just a point in Orlando to ensure they end the night there.

El Salvador meanwhile require a win to leapfrog their hosts and, against the odds, reach the Nations League Finals.

During World Cup qualifying, El Salvador were beaten 1-0 in Columbus, Antonee Robinson the only scorer that night, with this one at Exploria Stadium also likely to produce a home win.

Trinidad & Tobago vs Nicaragua

[TIP_OF_THE_DAY]

With just one points separating the top two in League B Group C, it’s all the play for in Bacolet.

As it stands, Nicaragua are one point above their hosts, thanks largely to a 2-1 victory in the reverse fixture.

Remember, the group winners are promoted to League A and qualify automatically for next summer’s Gold Cup, while the runners-up remain in the second-tier and enter the Gold Cup prelims.

For Trinidad & Tobago to take the big prize, they simply have to win, staying in the hunt by smashing Bahamas 3-0 on Friday.

Who will be celebrating after this crucial clash at Dwight Yorke Stadium?

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines vs Bahamas

[TIP_OF_THE_DAY]

Will either claim a rare CONCACAF Nations League victory?

In the reverse fixture on matchday one, Lesly St. Fleur’s penalty saw Bahamas prevail 1-0 in Nassau.

Since then, neither side has won a game in this group, meaning they’ll end as the bottom two in this section.

Bahamas have lost four on the bounce, most recently beaten 3-0 by Trinidad & Tobago on Friday.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ only point came in a 1-1 draw with Nicaragua back in June, smashed 4-1 by the same opponents last time out.

Very little is at stake in this one, so will there be a winner at Arnos Vale Stadium?

Guatemala vs French Guinea

[TIP_OF_THE_DAY]

A straight shootout for promotion and a place at next summer’s Gold Cup.

French Guinea kick off top of Group D, one point above their hosts, thanks largely to a 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture in June.

Les Yana Dòkòs’ advantage really should be three points, but they conceded a 94th minute equaliser against Dominican Republic on Thursday.

So, will Jean-Claude Darcheville’s team get the draw them need to remain in first place in Guatemala City?

The home side beat Belize 2-1 on matchday five, with Óscar Castellanos and then Oscar Santis on target in Belmopan.

Los Chapines are targeting back-to-back Nations League promotions, knowing a win here would achieve this.

The group winners at League B level qualify for the Gold Cup, while the runners-up have to settle for a spot in the prelims.

So, who will be celebrating after this crucial clash at Estadio Doroteo Guamuch Flores.

Dominican Republic vs Belize

[TIP_OF_THE_DAY]

Neither of these two can secure a top two finish in League B Group D, making this a bit of a dead-rubber.

Belize have just one point to their name, following Friday’s 2-1 defeat against Guatemala.

Dominican Republic meanwhile are on five points, with their sole victory in this campaign coming in the reverse fixture in Belmopan.

Los Quisqueyanos held French Guinea to a 1-1 draw on matchday five, courtesy of Carlos Heredia 94th minute equaliser.

So, a home win seems likely at Estadio Panamericano.

Saint Kitts and Nevis vs Aruba

[TIP_OF_THE_DAY]

Will Saint Kitts and Nevis claim the point they need to secure promotion to League B?

On Thursday night, St. Kitts beat Sint Maarten 3-1 on the road, with Tiquanny Williams, talisman Romaine Sawyers and Harry Panayiotou all on target.

This means the Sugar Boyz have seven points on the board so sit top, needing just a draw to secure promotion, and a place in the Gold Cup prelims.

Aruba though know a victory would see them leapfrog St. Kitts, thereby pinching first place on this final matchday.

Marvic Bermúdez’s side claimed their first-ever Nations League win back in June, hammering Sint Maarten 3-0 in June, before a 3-2 defeat to St. Kitts in the reverse fixture.

Thus, the home side are likely to claim the required result at Warner Park Sporting Complex.

Saint Lucia vs Dominica

[TIP_OF_THE_DAY]

Will Saint Lucia end this campaign with maximum points?

On Friday, they rubber stamped top spot by beating Anguilla 2-1 at Raymond E. Guishard Technical Centre.

With nine points out of nine, Saint Lucia will be promoted to League B, and feature in June’s Gold Cup prelims.

Dominica meanwhile drew twice with Anguilla back in June, before losing 1-0 when Saint Lucia visited Roseau.

So, a home win seems likely at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground.
