Koln will welcome Wolfsburg to the RheinEnergieSTADION this weekend in the Bundesliga with the club down in 12th after a poor run of form with the Wolves still in seventh for another week.
Wolfsburg continue to sit just outside of the top six ahead of this one and it is unlikely we will see them jump into the European spots anytime soon because of the form of those already in it.
Wolfsburg lost to RB Leipzig 3-0 at home last time out, and this now means a five-game winless run since defeating Hertha Berlin by a stunning 5-0 scoreline in the German capital.
Werder Bremen defeated them shortly after the win against Hertha, before Union Berlin went on to knock them out of the DFB-Pokal. A loss to Bayern Munich, a draw with Schalke and the recent loss to Leipzig came soon after.
As for Koln, they’ve secured just two wins since action resumed in Germany and were battered by Stuttgart last weekend.
It has pushed them down into 12th, although they do sit just three points behind the top nine.
