These two made contrasting starts to World Cup 2026 qualifying, reflective of the fact they’re widely expected to finish towards opposite ends of the table.

La Albiceleste are of course the reigning world champions, meaning Lionel Scaloni’s side highly-likely to cruise through these qualifiers.
Bolivia meantime are South America’s usual whipping boys, having not featured at a World Cup since USA ‘94, finishing in the bottom two in every cycle since Japan/Korea 2002 qualification.

So, can the world champions overcome the conditions and leave Estadio Hernando Siles with all three points, or will Gustavo Costas’ team pull off an historic scalp?
