It’s a massive game down at the bottom end of the Bundesliga this Saturday afternoon as Bochum aim to get out of the bottom three and pull Augsburg closer to the drop zone once more.
A positive run of form for Augsburg has seen them move six clear of relegation and into 13th in the table with just nine points left on the board.
Simply put, a win here all but mathematically ensures their survival in the Bundesliga with only goals difference letting them down in terms of complete security in the division.
The club have beaten Union Berlin in the past week and drawn with Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart to create this six-point gap on the bottom three.
