England begin the defence of their under-21 European Championships title.
Back in July, the Young Lions beat Spain 1-0 in the U21 Euros Final in Batumi, with Curtis Jones’ fluke goal the difference, but James Trafford was the hero, saving a stoppage time penalty.
This is the first time England have been crowned under-21 European Champions since 1984, but this is the start of a new campaign and a new group of players for manager Lee Carsley to work with.
The Three Lions have qualified for each of the last nine U21 Euros, the longest streak of any side.
