Belgium take on Group F’s two minnows this month, so are widely expected to move six points closer to a spot at Euro 2024.
So far, Domenico Tedesco’s team have seven points on the board, starting with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Sweden in Stockholm, with Romelu Lukaku bagging a hat-trick that night.
Then, in June, the Red Devils were frustratingly held to a 1-1 draw by Austria in Brussels, before taking out their frustrations on Estonia in Tallinn, prevailing 3-0.
Lukaku was the only Belgian player to score in this campaign, netting six times, before Johan Bakayoko got in on the act in stoppage time at A. Le Coq Arena last time out.
With Estonia visited King Baudouin Stadium on Tuesday, the Red Devils will be expecting to move onto 13 points in the next few days, ahead of tougher assignments against Austria and Sweden to come in October.
Hosts Azerbaijan meantime have just one point to their name, playing out a 1-1 draw when Estonia visited Bakı during the summer, courtesy of Anton Krivotsyuk’s equaliser.
Before that, Gianni De Biasi’s side had shipped nine across away games in Linz and Solna, meaning Azerbaijan are now winless in 21 qualifiers, dating back to a 5-1 victory over San Marino six years ago last Monday.
