England vs Czech Republic
England will bring an end to their Euro 2020 group phase on Tuesday evening.
The Three Lions are set to play host to the Czech Republic, as they aim to bounce back from a disappointing 0-0 draw with Scotland last time out.
This result left England second in their group, meaning they could still technically fail to finish as runners up.
Southgate on Sancho
So, with their meeting with the Czechs now of importance to England, fans are no doubt keen to see Gareth Southgate make a number of changes to the side that underwhelmed vs Scotland.
The likes of Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount and Reece James were not exactly at their best on Friday.
Southgate also waited until after the 60th minute to introduce Jack Grealish, despite the game having been set up perfectly for him to start.
Perhaps the biggest surprise from an England perspective, however, is the fact that Jadon Sancho is yet to play a single minute at Euro 2020.
The 21-year-old scored 16 and assisted 20 in 38 outings for Dortmund last term, making his continued omission even more bizarre.
When asked about Sancho ahead of facing off against the Czech Republic, however, Southgate confirmed that the winger is in the mix to be involved on Tuesday:
“We’ve got some explosive options and a lot of them are young players and experiencing a big tournament for the first time. So as a coaching staff we are realistic about our expectations of them as individuals.
“Jadon is in that mix. He’s trained well the last few days and of course we have got those options and those decisions to make.”
