Match Preview

The Millers come into this clash against a struggling Hull side on the back of two wins and they will be hoping to make it three in a row, especially given they are the home side. Solid wins over Huddersfield and Stoke will need to be followed up if they are aiming to stay in the top half, where they currently reside in 11th place.

Rotherham have made a good start to life in the Championship where they badly struggled a couple of years ago and enter this clash as strong favourites to take all three points, with bookies giving odds of just 5/4 for a Millers win.

The Tigers picked up a much-needed win last time out, beating Blackpool 3-1 following dismal performances against Birmingham and a humiliating defeat to bottom-of-the-league Huddersfield Town. They will be hoping for more of the same as they travel to South Yorkshire.

Hull are outsider for this one, and that is understandable given they are yet to appoint a replacement for the sacked Shota Arveladze. Andy Dawson will take charge again, but they can’t afford for the manager search to drag out for too much longer. Bookies are pricing the away win at 21/10.
