Qarabağ vs Raków Częstochowa betting tips: Champions League second qualifying round second leg preview, predictions and odds

Qarabağ vs Raków Częstochowa odds and betting statistics

Qarabağ vs Raków Częstochowa match preview

Last Wednesday’s first leg at Miejski Stadion Piłkarski was certainly eventful, but who will be celebrating come full time in Bakı?

It took 55 minutes for either team to make the breakthrough in Poland, but it was Raków who got in front, Elvin Cəfərquliyev with an unfortunate own goal, before Fabian Piasecki’s headed home a second.

However, Qarabağ certainly did not give up, with Redon Xhixha pulling one back straight from kick off, before equalising just two minutes after that, sparking wild celebrations in the away end.

Nevertheless, the Polish champions were not to be denied because, just as the game entered stoppage time, Sonny Kittel’s long-range strike proved too hot for Şahruddin Məhəmmədəliyev to handle.

So, 3-2 to the hosts in finished in Częstochowa; will this rematch in the Azeri capital be equally as entertaining?

Having won their very first Ekstraklasa title last season, Raków are making their Champions League debut this season.

Qarabağ, in contrast, have featured in a group phase in each of the last nine seasons, so Gurban Gurbanov’ team will believe they can turn this one around at Bakı Olimpiya Stadionu.

The winners of this tie will take on Aris Limassol or BATE Borisov in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.

The losers drop into the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round, where they’ll face the losers of HJK vs Molde.
