Two sides eyeing up a finish in the top half of the Bundesliga will meet this weekend with Mainz set to head on the road to meet with Koln at the RheinEnergieSTADION with four places separating the two in the German top flight.
Mainz have managed to hang on to eighth place in the Bundesliga this season and remain in the top half as a result of beating RB Leipzig in a stunning 3-0 performance at the Red Bull Arena.

As for Koln, theuy are back to winning ways after defeating Augsburg 3-1 last time out. They did, however, get mauled 6-1 by Borussia Dortmund just prior to the intertnational break.
Koln are now sitting behind Mainz by 10 points and they will struggle to get into the top half if they lose here.
