Ninth and 13th will meet in the Bundesliga this weekend as Hoffenheim look to get back to winning ways after a tough restart to action that now sees them hovering just above the relegation zone before the visit of Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Gladbach are in ninth ahead of this one but they are coming into this game with their hopes of returning to the Champions League looking very slim after two defeats in a row.

The club lost 3-2 at BORUSSA-PARK to Bayer Leverkusen on the returning game after the World Cup, while they also lost to Augsburg 1-0. Lars Stindl did grab a brace against Leverkusen, but they were already 3-0 down by that stage.

As for Hoffenheim, they are still in deep trouble. The club sit 13th right now and are above the bottom three by just three points. Their goals difference is much better, however, so there is still a bit of hope.

Nevertheless, a 3-1 loss to Union Berlin and a 2-2 draw with fellow strugglers Stuttgart is a worrying sign for them. Andrej Kramaric was the hero once more for Hoffenheim in that game, scoring in the 94th minute to snatch a point after also bagging in the first half.
